Air Alsie News

August 2009
It is no secret that the financial crisis has had a dramatic impact on business aviation. Air Alsie has also been hit hard as market demand has dropped significantly, right from the start of the crisis late 2008. During the last 6 months we have adjusted our organization in order to accommodate this. Our managed fleet of aircraft has also changed because of this. However, even in a tight market, we have been able to obtain new contracts at the same rate as others have stopped.

In the spring we closed down our Citation 650 operation after having done 11.600 hours since 1998. And we have also stopped the operation of the last generation of Hawker 700. Our Hawker 800 and 800XP continues in our operation.

New to our fleet are two Falcon 2000LX making us one of the leading commercial operations in a new segment; one Citation Jet III and one Challenger 300. In September 2009 we will receive the first Falcon 7X into our fleet.

August was also a milestone in our Falcon operation as we have now performed more than 36.000 flying hours on Falcon 20, 50, 2000, 2000EX EASy, 2000LX and 900EX EASy.
